What is Candid Conversations?
Love and religion are some of the fundamental parts of our identity, but the three often intersect in complicated way. "Candid Conversations," examines the intersections between the LGBT community and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a series of interviews that feature members of both groups. In addition to the interviews, "Candid Conversations" seeks to strengthen understanding and compassion between the two communities and to highlight experiences of those in the intersection.

Meet Your Hosts
Sydney Squires (left) is a senior at BYU, studying English. She is from the Tooele, Utah area. When not studying or producing the podcast, she can be found hiking, playing tennis, and doing stereotypical English major activities.

Madeline Keepman (right) is a senior at BYU, studying English. She is from St. Louis, Missouri. She served a mission in the St. George visitor's center and currently teaches in the MTC. She loves teaching and running.
